Located in the heart of the Welsh capital, St Peter’s RC Primary School is a happy, caring and multicultural school. We provide education to around 500 pupils, aged 3 to 11, from various areas including Roath, Pen-y-lan, Splott and Cardiff city centre.
As a Catholic School, we have strong links with our community and with St Peter's Parish, the oldest surviving Roman Catholic Church in Cardiff, served by the Rosminian Order.
Since last Estyn inspection in 2018, we have developed a strong post-inspection action plan; strengthened our governance; received significant professional development; and appointed a new permanent Head Teacher. Our most recent monitoring visit recognised the significant progress made in terms of teaching and learning, and the strong sense of collegiality in our community.
